RALEIGH, NC, May 28, 2014 — Alliance Hospitality, a premier hotel management company, announced today that it has added the Wyndham Bay Point Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida to its growing portfolio. Alliance Hospitality joins a group of investors who have acquired the property. They will also manage the resort going forward. Rolf Tweeten, Chairman of the Board for Alliance Hospitality, made the announcement.
Opened in 1986, the 316-room villa-style, full-service resort and spa destination features an impressive list of amenities. These include two 18-hole championship golf courses, one of which was designed by Jack Nicklaus, a 12,000 square foot spa, two fitness centers, five clay tennis courts, five swimming pools, three restaurants, a lounge and 23,500 square feet of meeting space. Overlooking the beach and with access to a private strip of sand via a beautiful bay boardwalk the resort is readily accessible to a variety of local, county, state and interstate highways.
