Rolf Tweeten

President/CEO

After obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout School of Hotel Administration, Mr. Tweeten began his hospitality career with Marriott Corporation, where he completed their Management Training Program. After advancing through hotel managerial positions, Mr. Tweeten transitioned into hospitality real estate consulting with such prestigious firms as Deloitte & Touche and Ernst and Young where he became an expert consultant in operational, market research, and financial analysis and valuation of hospitality-related real estate. An entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Tweeten has become a successful ground-up developer, owner and manager of premium branded hotels, and his aptitude for operating hotels in niche markets has played a crucial role in the success and remarkable growth of his companies.

Kathleen Flanders

Corporate Director of Finance

Kathleen Flanders comes to Alliance Hospitality with over 25 years of accounting experience with 15 years focused in the hospitality industry. With a degree in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting and Finance from Carnegie-Mellon University, Kathleen has served in hotel field and corporate roles in many areas of hospitality, including operations, accounting, information systems, and finance. She joined Alliance in 2011, was promoted to Director of Finance, and is responsible for all accounting and finance functions

Amie Reid

Corp. Director of Sales/Business Development

Amie Reid comes to Alliance Hospitality Management with over 20 years experiences in the hospitality industry, specializing in Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management.  She is an expert at driving collaborative initiatives focused on strategic thinking and profit performance. She has held various management roles for full-service, extended stay, and select-service properties with Marriott, Starwood and Hilton brands. Her experience includes corporate and social catering sales, wedding planning, group and transient sales, oversight of hotel openings, and the facilitating of training classes.  She is an active member of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and holds an appointed position on the HSMAI Board as Vice President of Memberships.

Shin Lee

Corporate Director of Revenue Management

Shin Lee joined Alliance in 2014. She brings over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry with several different hotel brands, including Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, and IHG. After earning her M.B.A., Ms. Lee has focused exclusively on forecasting and revenue management. She has worked on-site at a diverse set of properties located in China, Korea, California, and New York. Most recently, as an area revenue manager for Hilton Hotels, she oversaw multiple properties located throughout the United States.

Kelly Friend-Jones

Director of Human Resources

Corporate Human Resources Manager Kelly Friend-Jones joined Alliance in 2013. Ms. Friend-Jones received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Methodist College in 2006 and also studied at Meredith College, Raleigh, North Carolina. She first began her career working in the health care industry but made the transition to the hospitality industry when she joined Alliance. Ms. Friend-Jones is eager to apply her skills in human resources and payroll and provide essential day-to-day support to the hotels. As Confucius once said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”.

Jim Conway

Area Resource Manager

Jim Conway joined Alliance Hospitality in 2016 but has operated for its principal at various times since 2003. He brings over twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry, including select-service & full-service hotels and resort properties in the US and Caribbean. Jim has held various management roles for properties with Marriott, Hilton and IHG. He has proven success with regional management roles, new openings, re-branding and turning around under-performing properties. Jim is an active board member of the Chicago North Shore Convention and Visitors Burea.

Ron Disbrow

Area Resource Manager

Ron Disbrow comes to Alliance Hospitality with over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry. As an Executive Team member Ron assisted in growing a hotel company from 4 hotels to 50 hotels in a seven year period. Ron’s specializes in Operational Excellence through innovative and strategic thinking. Ron’s favorite saying is “If you continue doing things the same way, you will continue to get the same results”. Ron’s expertise spans from limited service properties to high end full service properties.
